The Eclipse Agent Modeling Platform (Incubation) project Milestone 1 release is now available! This seems to be the week for releases...I'm also getting an Escape IDE release out hopefully before the end of the week.

This represents a real milest... ah forget it. Let's just say that timeline finally trumped perfection. There are a lot of cool new features here, including much more extensive (though far from complete) documentation and some neat new modeling features, including support for dynamic histograms, pie charts and stacked area charts in addition to time series. The 3D views have some cool features as well, including nice smooth animation between different model steps. Escape is now fully equivalent to Ascape (for Swing) in terms of basic functionality, and much better in important ways -- AMF modeling is seamlessly integrated for it and you can write code and execute it without leaving your favorite IDE. Here's a quick screencast of some of the new functionality:

Congrats on getting an M1 out the door :)
